My Not So Covid Quilt

A couple of years ago, we purchased a vacation home in Pagosa Springs, CO. As soon as I could, I joined the Pagosa Piecemakers Quilt Guild. One the first meetings I attended, they had Kim Schrader Fauth teaching a class. I couldn’t take the class but did hear her lecture. I purchased her book “ABCD Quilting”. The general concept of this method is to make complicated looking blocks using simple methods. No paper piecing nor templates are required. The blocks end up having triangles, trapezoids, and parallelograms! Just follow her very clear instructions and your possibilities are endless.

Covid-19 is almost non-existent here, so we are out and about almost every day. However, I did find time to quilt and I’ve made 2 of her designs so far and I can see more in my future.
