After a three-month delay, our 2019 Unsung Hero was named. Thanks to Dorothy D. and her husband, she was awarded flowers, a gift certificate, and a certification of appreciation, in person, last night during the meeting. For those that didn’t join the meeting last night, her picture and name will be in the next newsletter.
Our sympathy to Carol A. and her family for the recent passing of her son.
Our Zoom presentation, by Trudy Cleveland, was very informative. Although, I have taken photo classes, I learned so much about taking photos of my quilts. Her power point slides had many gorgeous photos of her exquisite quilts. She is a “long-armer” and the photos showed every detail.
The Zoom presentation was well worth it! So much so, I’m now willing to try a Zoom class. Dawn S. informed us that our first Zoom class will be November 6th. My check is in the mail!
