Well, here we go, one more year to see what we are made of
My idea is to provide you a quilt pattern and layout which will give you what you need to push yourself. In return, just enough to also push me to be a better quilter.
That is what those of you that stripped your way to the finish line did for me last year. Thank you all!
The layout I selected is inspired by our quilt in a day leader Eleanor Burns.
You will be making log cabins along with a variety of blocks from our past. I’ve been researching old blocks and their history, which I will share with you throughout the year.
If anyone out there has a favorite old block pattern let me know and I’ll see if it fits into the pattern.
As usual, I’ll put my own funk on each pattern, but you can use the block as you see fit. I will give you the pattern for my choice, but you too can tweak it.
When we finish our quilt, which I call, A Blast from the Past, all our fun should provide you with a gem to brag about.
