FASHIONISTAS — PAPER DOLLS FOR GROWN UPS

• Sewing Machine (cleaned & oiled) with machine embroidery/free motion foot
• Fabric Scissors •
• Paper Scissors
• Embroidery or smaller scissors that allow you to cut detail
• Thread snips
• Paper, pen and pencil
• Pins • Rotary Cutter
• Rotary Cutting Mat (small is fine. your finished piece will not be larger than 12” square)
• Rotary Cutting Ruler. If you have a 12.5” square, bring it.
• Assorted Thread including black and decorative if you have any*
• Pressing Sheet
• Disappearing Ink or Chalk Pen
• 1/2 yard Wonder-Under 805*
• 1/2 yard white felt (this is your batting)*
• Fabric • lots of small pieces of conversational printed (flowers, fashion accessories, props, dogs, cats, etc. Note figure is approximately 5” head to toe).**
• A selection of approximately 14 x 14 or larger solid or neutral monochromatic print for background (cotton, polished cotton, silk dupioni)**
• A selection of approximately 3”x5” or larger printed “dress fabric”
• 14 x 14 or larger print for back with matching thread for bobbin
