ACQG’s March Madness

Great March meeting!  It was busy, fun and inspirational.   So many of us participated in the Challenge and, for me, it was breath taking.  All those blocks are going to make wonderful quilts for our deserving vets.

For $2.50, I was able to win some great stuff at the “2 – Bit” auction.  It was interesting to see how many of us wanted the same items. I didn’t think I could get so excited with a bag of cast of fabric that cost twenty-five cents!  Fun!  Hope we do it again next year.

The Show and Tell was inspiring.  The quilt tops from the Arlene Arnold’s class were so different with just the fabric choices. (There was one one “over- achiever” that had finished hers.)  My particular favorite was made by Lynn D.   Lucky Lynn took a class with the famous Freddy Moran and produced a very cute self portrait.  Reminded me of the small quilts that former member, Carolyn W., use to make.

Mary F whipped this quilt up in her spare time!
