The time spent in the park at the Golden Oak Honey Festival went very well.  Quite cold in the am but then it warmed up to quite pleasant.  Five members were there all day (Christine P, Nancy N, Carol H, Elizabeth R, and Thora S) and Cindy U was there for several hours.  All of us introverts were really “out there” telling about the raffle and the auction.

We had lots of traffic by the booth and many also stopped.  People were very interested in the raffle for mammograms — we received several donations of money.  They sold about $200 in tickets, and people seemed quite interested in the auction.  Many said they are planning to attend.

It was a very good day and is definitely something we need to do again next year.
