Strip Poker

That caught your attention, didn’t it? Come to a Guild Meeting, usually on the
first Monday of the month, and our first VP may surprise you with a new quilt
related “game”.
Envision quilters filling the hall. Quilters at each table with their
stash of stripes. Unused jelly roles, fabric cut into strips, imagination galore, and a
bit of a challenge to win.
Each participant threw a strip in the center, took turns rolling the dice, and do
what it said; pass a strip L, R, Lose a turn, or WINNER of pile in the middle.
We have funny, focused women when it comes to material. In the end we all won.
Those who didn’t take fabric home lowered their stash.
Those that did were winners as they gathered precious strips they might use in a project they were
working on. Or might do so in the future. Do you have quilts to show in February
that exhibit some of your winning? We’d love to see them.
February meeting on Friday, February 3rd.
