September meeting – Round Robin Quilts

What a treat we got from Janice, Suzannah and Linda-

Don’t you want to start a round robin or progressive quilt in your circle now?

My circle had a fun year doing one and it made the meetings so much fun but also a lot of work. Fun takes commitment!

Here is the first one.

The recipient provided one block and a theme along with a journal and a list of likes and dislikes.

Other members then made matching blocks, inserted 9patch blocks, stars, written text and finally the last person finished putting it together with input from everyone but the owner.

We also found out that this year’s guild challenge is English Paper piecing and it will be judged at the March Trash to Treasures meeting.
