Opportunity Quilt Update

Several of our busy bee quilters met on Saturday to sew all those wonderful house blocks together.  Dorothy D. lead the construction of this great little neighborhood.  Thank you to all the members that took part in this project.

Golden Needle Award

October 2017 General Meeting

Ellen November, a local fiber artist, was our guest speaker.  She explained her unique style of map quilts.  Although the focus was on her map quilts, she also showed her other creations including one of  Dora Car’s” design.

“Yes Mam” Quilt

At the October 2, 2017  ACQG meeting, the winning raffle ticket for the “Yes Mam” quilt was awarded to Christina P.    Christina is an active member of our guild.  Congratulations! Profits will be donated to CAPSLO’s .
