ACQG Meeting is on Community Quilts

Community Quilts, a favorite activity of our guild, will be the topic of the August meeting Monday August 1st.

Community Quilts meets the third Saturday of the month. Quilters admire quilts as they get made, chat and work together to selects the right fabric from our many boxes of scraps and orphan blocks.

Community Quiilts is a great place to improve your quilting or get help. Come for the whole day or just a few hours and meet this friendliest part of our guild.

If you can’t make the meeting on August 1st join us on Zoom.

  • please contact me regarding the donation of fabric from a recently deceased member. Her family wants community quilts to have her stash.

  • I am downsizing and have lots of quilting supplies including tools, patterns and fabric. I’d be happy to donate them to the guild. Please let me know how to connect with the right person.

    • Hi Community Quilts is making quilts for foster children, fire victims and Cancer camps. They usually take cotton fabric for their quilts. We also have a free table on guild meeting nights where members browse and find treasures. If you email acqguild1@gmail.com I can give you a phone number to call. I just can’t post sensitive info on the website. Elizabeth
