Including our new members and guests, there were about 80 in attendance! What a great turn out for our guest speaker, Joe Cunningham. He was very entertaining with his songs and stories.
There was a great showcase of the BOM for September. It was surprising how many quilters worked “out of the box”. The challenge was to make a block depicting “The Dog Days of Summer.” For those that wanted to work with a pattern it was to make four disappearing 4patches which could be stretched by changing the dimensions.
